Sweet Gracie’s Life (not to be confused with the popular Italian-themed Grace’s Sweet Life) was started in July of 2013 as a way for me to share recipes that I’ve picked up from somewhere or developed on my own. I love baking, cooking, though not so much the cleaning! The horizons of the types of recipes you’ll find on here are endless. Cookies, breads, brownies, muffins, cupcakes, frostings, etc. Along with those generic titles you’ll find gluten-free recipes, “skinny” recipes, Paleo (no refined sugar, flour, or dairy!), and of course, you’re full-fat & sugar-filled plain-ol’ delicious recipes. Typically I’ll post (or at least attempt to) 1-2 times a week, depending on my schedule and whatnot. During holidays, the summer, & in some cases, random spurts of free time, more posts will crop up. It all depends! 🙂 I love writing & photography as well.
A note on photography:
I shoot with a Nikon S3500 (Coolpix series). I know, I know, it’s not a $700 DSLR…someday! For now, though, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent camera. It shoots great quality pictures for a lower price than most. I usually touch-up & watermark most of my photos using PicMonkey and Fotor. It’s free, it’s super easy, and the pictures turn out fabulous. To find my pictures, you can check out my Pinterest page or, of course, my posts! I love to shoot outside (if it’s nice, of course!) because we have this gorgeous little table outside that I like to call the most photogenic area of the whole house. I also try to take advantage of as much natural lighting as I can when shooting, although not direct sun. That’s pretty much it on photography for me. More on that later, I guess.
